No rain today but it was overcast all day. Lots of chores in the morning to do today. Archie and I went for our morning walk and I didn't realize how angry the ocean was today. The waves were really foaming up the beach and the water was washing over the berm of sand all over the place. Archie loved it and ran around lots.
I was on FB for a while after that and noted that our favourite restaurant, Las Korita's will be opening on December 3. I was on the phone right away making a reservation.
Sue found a dead turtle laying upside down on the beach. She tried to turn it up the right way but a big wave came and took it back out to the ocean.
Back home we put on a pan of scrambled eggs to fill the tummy. Sue did a little magic and made it amazing.
Later in the afternoon we went shopping in Guayabitos at the Bodega. The Bodega is like a little Mexican Walmart. The reason for going there is for the Bollio Buns. They are the best anywhere and are light and fluffy and normally hot out of the oven.
Before going home we did a little tour out to El Monteon and drove out in the country. We saw pineapple fields and lots of cows and a great big bull. Its always fun to tour out in the country.

We saw lots of trees with these pails hanging in them. There was something hanging inside the pail as well. We have no idea what they are but will do some research. Meanwhile does anyone have any ideas?
And of course the guard dog in a tree having his siesta!! He did pick up his ears as we went by.
I'm gonna go to bed after I post this picture and you can figure out why? Some things in life do not make sense, nor do they care if it makes sense around here. Its not hurting anything so let it go!!! Good Nite!!
If the holes in the pails weren't so small, I might guess they were animal feeders of some sort. Maybe for birds?
ReplyDeleteAnxious to hear what they are for.
Nice day, the waves do look angry.
