WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

We were up early this morning to say goodbye to Tracey.  She is teaming up with Jeff and Fany to head back to Texas and then on to Canada.  We all said our goodbyes and out the gate she went.  They will take 3 days to get out of Mexico before parting ways and Tracey will go west and Jeff and Fany will go east.

A great day to do some projects.  Our coffee maker has needed a longer cord forever so today it got one.  The other day I went downtown and bought an extension cord.  Today I cut the female end off it and wired it direct to the coffee maker.  Now the cord reaches to the plug with ease.

Next was to figure out the range hood fan and light.  I had it apart the other day but I ran out of time to explore in depth.  Today I did and discovered a ground wire that was off.  That fixed that!!!  Generally problems like these are simple to fix and this was.

Later on we sat around on the beach for a while and discussed life.  Even Joel joined us for a while and we stumble through trying to communicate with our bad Spanish and his bad English.  We did fine. I thought it was so nice of him to drop by just to talk.

There is always something to see out on the beach and in the ocean.  Archie loves to sit and watch dogs and people going by.

Sue made up a wonderful shrimp stir fry for supper.  I swear we have the tastiest shrimp in the world here. They are almost sweet.  Mmmmmm!!!

After supper we played some cards with John and Kirley.  It was not Johns night tonight.  Good Nite!!
