Just a Normal Day

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Well it was time to go to the coffee shop to get some more coffee. We have a place just down the street that roasts and blends its own coffee.  I think the guy actually owns a coffee plantation nearby.  They do most of their roasting at night so we often smell the roasted beans here at RRV.  Coffee here is not cheap like you might think. I paid 140 ($10.77)  peso's for half a kilo.

I also had to get a key chain to put on Brad and Julies trailer keys. There are a couple little trinket shops on the Avenida that have all kinds of key chains and such. We needed something we could write their name on so the back of this one is blank so it will work.

There was a funeral just down the road from us for a lady that spent many years there managing one of the units.  John and Kirley got to know her quit well so they attended.  After the ceremony they split up the ashes between everyone who was part of the ladies life and sprinkled them in the ocean.  I thought it was a great think to do in her honour.

Archie and I went for his afternoon walk while everyone sat around waiting on the sunset.  We hope it will not be obscured by clouds again tonight.

We were not disappointed as the sun slowly dipped into the ocean almost mid way between the mainland and the island.

We spent a couple hours this evening playing some games with Wanda and Irwin.  They are always lots of fun to play games with.  We went past La Penita midnight (9pm) so went home tired out.  Good Nite!!
