It was Joel's day to work again and he had some pretty hefty jobs to do. He is digging out some steel poles that were in the ground with 2 feet of concrete, and he was uprooting some agave plants and taking them to the neighbours for replanting. He works really hard and always gets the job done.
From the other side this is what it looks like now and another picture after dark. Very pretty.
Next time he is here he will be attacking this tree. It needs a real good haircut and some water. We might get some rain this week!! That would be different.
Lilly was happy today because she finished a puzzle she has been working on for about a month. It is crazy hard but I am happy to report that she completed it with my help. (I did one piece)!
I told you before that we are the official Walmart greeters here and here is our sign to prove it. Lauren made it up to direct people to us instead of asking them all the hard questions. lol.
Yesterday was the eve of Dia de Reyes, but today is Dia de Reyes. To celebrate we bought our own cake and invited everyone to come and have a piece. If you got a piece with a baby Jesus you will have to bring something special to our January 20 potluck.
And our lucky winners are Sue and Jen. I don't think they were thrilled. They will be treating us to something at the potluck I guess.
