Another quiet day around here. It was fairly warm today compared to what we have been having so everyone took advantage and laid around in the sun. Kenia and Josie dropped by with the new table top. I had ordered it when we first got here and delays of various kinds kept Josie from completing it. Today he got it finished and brought it over. It will look nice in the palapa when I get it bolted down tomorrow.
Our day other than that was filled with nothingness, which is not a bad thing. I was sitting in my chair relaxing and looked up and saw the sunset reflecting off the passenger window. It made for a little different perspective tonight.
About 20 minutes later, the sky turned pink with a pretty reflection on the clouds.
One of the things I do around here is lock the gates at 9 pm every night and tonight was no different. When I went to the back gate, Joel was there burning the branches he had cut from the trees on Friday. Because everything is concrete around here, there is no concern with stuff burning in the back alleys. The only thing is the smoke, but there is normally no wind after dark. I bid Joel Buenos Noches and we went off to bed. Good Nite!!
