My main job today was to mount the table top. We had hoped that it would be 3/4 inch thick wood so we could screw into it from the bottom, but it is only 1/2 inch so we were afraid the screws would not hold. I made a corporate decision and decided to use 4 carriage bolts with smooth tops to hold it down. It turned out all right for what we use it for. We will have lots of card games on it I'm sure.

Tonight we had a potluck again. This time it was pizza. If you remember back on Kings Day Sue and Jen got the baby Jesus's in the cake and that meant they had to buy pizza. (no one wanted tamales!!) We decided rather than wait until Feb 6 which is the tamale day, we would do it today. Everyone in the park brought something and we had lots to eat.
Max had a tough time waiting on the cake to be opened!! Awww go ahead mom, open it up!!
Sunset was beautiful as usual.
The folks back home are getting another round of really nasty weather. I'm so glad we are down here right now. Good Nite!!
