It Was a Liver and Onions Kinda Day

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

It was a hot day today so I puttered around RRV this morning.  About 2 Susan suggested we go downtown to get a few things and grab some lunch.  How about some Liver and Onions?  Yup, El Pollito has the best!

Facebook got me a little disgusted this morning.  Everyone talks about our health care in Canada and how they wish they had "free" health care.  Well here is the result of our mismanagement in Canada. This particular thing is actually Manitoba but our whole country is going to H in a handcart!!!  There is no excuse for this kind of thing.  What if there is a major emergency?

Archie and I headed out on our walk as usual tonight.  We went down by the new condo being built and observed that the old rock sea wall had been taken out and the new concrete pool side is there.  Wow that was quick but I'm sure another wall will go up in its place.

A little bit of a sunset made our day almost complete.

I had to share my chair with Archie this evening while doing the blog and he just sat and looked at me while waiting for bed time.  Good Nite!!!

  4. As an older woman with multiple health issues who has lived in southern Alberta and SW Ontario I have always received excellent, free healthcare whether for my daily needs or during emergencies. As has everyone I know. Sure there are improvements needed, but still, I’m grateful for every bit of healthcare I’ve received.

    1. Btw, my comment isn’t meant to discount the current Brandon and area paramedic staffing shortage, just sharing my experiences.
