Charlie gets the Royal Treatment

We have some things to do in town today and one of them is to get Charlie a bath.  He is getting pretty scruffy looking after a winter in the desert so we decided to splurge and get him a trim and a pedicure.

I loved the name of the grooming place...The Soggy Paw.....

They have a self wash area where for $15 bucks you can wash your own dog, or for $45 bucks you can get the full meal deal.  We think Charlie deserves nothing but the best.

While he was getting duded up we headed over to do our laundry.  Laundry mats are normally just so so places and usually damp and smelly, but this one was the best we had ever been to.  It was clean and shiny with friendly helpful staff and free coffee, and a massage chair and you did all your paying on a card rather than quarters, which you might recall we lost at the last game of CLR.

After the laundry was done we stopped by the Container Store which is on the south end of the Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard, and right next to the airport.

The planes were flying dirctly overhead and were so close you could see the peoples faces pressed against the windows with terror in their eyes wondering if the landing was going to be successful.  

The timing was perfect because as we were leaving the phone rang and it was the groomer saying that Charlie was ready.  OMG we were sooooo pleased.  He was so soft and clean and his tail almost wagged off when he saw us.

Next stop was the Amazon locker to pick up some stuff we had ordered.  I got all of the LED bulbs that I needed to complete the entire motor home with LED's.  It sure makes a difference on the power consumption.

Next stop was the Post Office to pick up my water bladder from Amazon.  I will show it to you at a later date.

That is pretty much how today went for us.  We think it was a pretty busy day so we relaxed for the rest of the day.
