Thanks Sergio!

WHERE ARE WE? Romantic Escapes RV Park, La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico
NEXT DESTINATION? Guadalajara, Mexico April 1, 2020

Just me and Charlie on the beach.  He sure likes it here because he doesn't have to wear his socks.  The sand is soft and doesn't hurt his feet and I think the salt is good for them.  His pads are actually starting to get hard again like a dogs pads should be.  He runs along exploring and wagging his tail.  It makes me feel good to see him having a good time.   He eats some marginal things on the beach, but oh well, it could be worse.

Now that there are less people around it seems like there are more birds in the estuary area.  I think they enjoy the quiet as well.

There are some Mexican dogs that hang out in our park and we quite enjoy having them around.  Suzanne is a dog lover and she has bought tick collars for them and she feeds them all the time so they are here a lot.  The black one (Mama) has a litter of pups at home which is a few doors down from the park.  The other two just sport a big pair of cahoonahs and walk bow legged because of it!!!  Mexican dogs are normally timid and these are no different.  I was surprised to see them come this close today.  Charlie doesn't mind having them around one wee little bit!!

Sergio will be closing Las Karita's pretty soon because his season is over so we got together tonight for his Rib and Rib Eye special.  Man was it ever good and we had a lot of fun.  For those of you shaking your head, that is alright.  We feel that everyone in this group is careful and we have all had the same exposure risk and by mutual consent we are ok with getting together to have some fun.  And we did have a lot of fun and we will do it again I'm sure.  Actually this will be the group of people that we caravan with when we leave Mexico in 10 days or so.

L-R  JoLynne, Paul, Sue, Me, Don, Josie, and the happy guy is Brian!!
Sergio and his staff did a wonderful job of feeding and watering us.  And they were doing their part by wearing the masks as well.  Thanks guys and gals.

A little different sunset view tonight over the top of 3 motorhomes that pulled into the park today to take a little break before continuing on to Quebec.  I'm glad that Suzanne is getting a little more income because she has had the rug pulled out from under her with all of the cancellations.  Hope you had a good day today like ours was.
