Sunset on the Gulf

Today was to be a relaxing day.  We went down to the beach for a bit but it was chilly so we decided to head back and kick around the campground.  A few days ago I mentioned that we bought a little red wagon.  Well today we used it to haul all our stuff to the beach and back.

After spending the afternoon around the Ponderosa we headed over to meet our friends Kris and Dan again.  Kris does a blog occasionally called Meandering Jax,  to keep everyone informed what they are doing.  Dan was feeling much better today so we were able to meet him finally.  We met for a drink and to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.  The sunsets are gorgeous.

We went to a restaurant called Rockin Tacos for supper.  The tacos were fantastic.  We have been out for supper 3 nights in a row now.  The cook will be forgetting how to cook at our house.

We have had a great time meeting and hanging out with Kris and Dan. Although we had to say farewell tonight, we are sure we will be meeting again in the future.  Thanks for your hospitality and I owe you a round Dan.

Because we were out late again there is no view from our window tonight.  Late nights are getting to be a habit, but of course it does get dark at 5 pm here.
