Today was spent doing a few chores and swimming. My view out the window was early today because I was wondering what everyone was doing out there.
Oh, look up in the tree. There is a guy up there cutting down the coconuts before they fall on Normand and Suzannes awning and maybe their head!!!
The Christmas parade is scheduled for this evening at 5:30, so we headed downtown about 6 and visited with Kenia for a few minutes.
Then we wandered the town and about 7 the parade started appearing. Mexican schedules are very approximate so generally there is no need to rush. There were maybe 10 floats in the parade and at 8:30 when we headed home, it was still not all the way down the 4 block long Avineda.
We are falling into a pretty relaxed schedule and love the fact that you can sit outside after dark in shorts and be very comfortable. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore is liken to watching a bonfire!!! We got some lights set up on our awning so we are able to sit out in the evening. Good Nite!
Looks like a nice place to sit and just relax, especially now that the coconuts are down!
