We planned to head down to Guaymas to the market today so we headed out around 9:30. When we got there we realized it wasn't today, but there was still lots to do downtown. We walked through the permanent indoor market. It is quite large and is split into like sections. Clothes, restaurant, candy, and a butcher shop market. I wanted to buy this one. I think it was the crossed eyes and smirk that drew me in. This piggy went to market.
And the prickly pear cactus as they cleaned the prickles off of it.
We walked a few of the downtown streets seeing what we could see.
We took a walk down the Malicon. There was not a soul there. That was kinda funny.
They were getting the town square ready for Christmas so we did a little wander there. I bet it is pretty at night. Even the Municipal courtyard had a nativity scene.
There was a large church in the square but it was fairly new and not that spectacular.
We took a little drive around the south side of the bay and saw some fishing boats and big tanker ships. This is definitely the old part of Guaymas.
We stopped for a little bit of lunch at a cute little restaurant along the road. They had awesome fish taco's and shrimp.
We made it home in time for a nice afternoon relax time and then we headed out to happy hour. We had more new friends but I can't pronounce their names. Let me try. Ewe (pronounced oovie) and Ute (like it is spelled).
I missed the sunset picture but the side by side on the sand dune was taking one I think.
We watched a little bit of Survivor tonight. It will soon be over. And this was the view out our back window today. Good Nite!!
A fun looking day. I could do without the piggy at market. Lol.
