Cardiac Exercise Program

So I guess I didn't quite get the right impression of how happy Sue was with her permanent markers for her birthday.  If you remember yesterday she did say that she was going to make some kind of a mark on me.  Well I guess this is what she meant!  I must be a deep sleeper!!

Thanks photo shop.

Every once in a while we have a do nothing day.  Today was one of those days.  I talked about going for a hike but as time wore on it became less intriguing.  I convinced myself that I had done enough exercise yesterday to cover for today too.  I opened up Facebook and there was the answer.  If its on Facebook, it has to be true.

So after lunch I laid down for a nap.  Good to know that is the right thing to do.

When I got up I figured I should do something so I fixed my chair.  Now some of you have made mention of the fact that I must not be related to Red Green because none of my fixing and renovations included duct tape.  Well I hate to burst your bubble, but here is proof that there are times when Uncle Reds famous duct tape is appropriate.  Now I can relax without the metal digging into my ankles.

In the late afternoon I headed over to La Posa South to see if I could look up Rick and Kathy who write the blog It's About Time.  Their truck was not there so I continued down the road to visit with a friend we met in 2016 and last year as well.  Larry lives in Reno and comes here every year.  He is a bit of a McGivor, so I love to talk to him.  It was great to say hi again.   Then when I left there and was on my way over to Rick and Kathy's I ran into Brian Boone.  He runs Got Solar Installed and helped with my installation and did one for Pat and Harold last year.  He recognized the Jeep as we passed on the road and stopped and we chatted for a long time.  Brian is a great resource for anyone wishing to install solar on their rig as well as anyone needing tech assistance with any solar problem.  It doesn't matter if you had him install your system or not.  If you have a problem, he will answer it.  Just shoot him an e-mail.  By the time we got done, I had to hurry to make it home in time for supper so didn't get the chance to stop by Rick and Kathy's.  I will make another run over there tomorrow.  That was it for today.

The view out our window was not as spectacular tonight:

Our Location tonight:  Boon docking at West La Posa LTVA, near Quartzsite AZ   33.6572 - 114.228

  2. Lorne, you started my day off with a good chuckle, or should I say, Sue did. And I definitely like the doctors analogy of the heart, good advice to follow. Yes every once in awhile I will use some of Uncle Red's duct tape too.

  4. Kevin laughed when I read him the facebook thing! You know us and we do lots to keep active but we still don't think they have it all figured out. He does like to take a nap whenever he can get one though! ;-)
