Today we went downtown to check out the market. Same old, same old!! We did buy another fan for the MH so we don't have to keep moving the big one from front to back all the time. We now have them permanently (well sort of) mounted in out of the way places.
We got to see Kenia's motorbike a little better today in the daylight. She was riding with Katherine and Oscar and they only had one helmet, so we went and bought 2 more helmets for the kids. Now they are a little safer. Kenia is very proud of her bike!!!
We had friends from previous years here in the park stop by to visit for a while. They are staying in Rincon Guaybitos for a while. Thanks for dropping by Keith and Marilyn.
Oscar and Katherine came for a swim this afternoon and Katherine had a blast in the pool with Mama Sue!!!
While they were swimming, Kenia and I went downtown to move the Cafecito back into place after the market was over.
Our friends Irwin and Wanda and their friends (who we hope to be friends with lol) John and Susan arrived from Manitoba. They will be staying in the top suite for about 2 weeks. They had a little rest in the afternoon before accompanying us and Howard and Linda, Blair and Joanne, and Ken and Rhonda to a production of "Rocket Man" at the Las Fuenta restaurant. Its is a Mexican tribute to Elton John.
The evening was a fund raiser for the local dog spay and neuters program here in town. I am not a big fan of dog "rescues" down here, because the dogs have existed perfectly well for thousands of years down here and I just think we should let them live (or die) here being street dogs. I do agree with the spay and neuter program which helps to control the population, which in turn curbs diseases amongst the dogs. So this was a fundraiser for those clinics. Every time they have a clinic, they process over 500 dogs and cats which is great. So tonight we paid for a supper and show with the proceeds going to the clinics.

It was kinda fun and he put on a fair to middlin show!! I think they will make a lot of money for a good cause!! Almost missed the sunset tonight!! That would have been disappointing!! LOL
Later on when I was outside someone pointed out the ring around the moon!! Does anyone know what that means?? Good Nite!!
A fun night! The ring is actually caused by light and ice crystals. Some say it is a sign of a storm, some say warm air is coming…. I guess it depends on which you want to believe. Either way, a change is coming.
