This morning I had to bring the Jeep up by our RV to get it out of the way because Dave and Jane are moving out today. They need room to maneuver their van and trailer out of the park.
Dave with some help from Jane and a few others did and awesome job of backing out onto the narrow little street through the restrictive gate. They have been here since before we arrived and we have enjoyed a bit of time with them.
My job today was to get the pool ready for pool volleyball this afternoon. First thing was to get the hose in the pool to fill it up. We have been waiting for the pueblo to fix the water line out front and today it was up and running again so we could use the hose.
Next job was to vacuum the pool. I looked over and all the dogs were at Karl and Suzies as usual. They usually have 8 or so dogs around at any given time. Archie gets a little special treatment and he and Milo, their dog, get along famously. Spoiled brat.
The games started at 1 pm and lasted for an hour or so. Look out George!! Maybe we will practice up and challenge the big RV park to a match!!!
After draining the estuary yesterday, the tide actually went down more and really carved out the channel. There is barely a small river channel left upstream.
This was as close to a sunset as I got tonight. Good Nite!
It does indeed look like a spectacular back up job to get out of the park. I’ve always thought parks need the little dolly thing used to turn airplanes around, it would make life so much easier and cheaper.
ReplyDeleteKeep practicing volleyball! You folks could end up being the champs of the town. Your prowess would be known far and wide, challengers would come from miles around…..lol.
If you like Grisham you will like Jeffery Deaver’s Lincoln Rhymes series, or James Patterson’s Alex Cross series. A few minutes reading everyday is a good way to pass some quiet time.
Beautiful sunsets.

Looks like a fun time was had by all the participants.
ReplyDeleteRight now, if you used a pool back home, you'd be wearing Ice Skates.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Is that the sea behind the jeep in the first photo? I just realized you don't have a photo from your lounging area of your view. Or maybe I missed it. You can see the water, right?
ReplyDeleteI do remember the view from your previous location....nice.
