Today turned out to be a good day. We went whale watching!! We used Alicia's Tours as our planner. She is on the beach in Rincon Guayabitos. She does deep sea fishing and snorkeling at Coral Island as well. We paid 450 pesos for a 2 hour trip and it was well worth it.
We grabbed a couple taxis to take us there and they picked us up just after 9:30.
Because we were a bit early for the 10:30 tour, we hung out in her restaurant. The boys out front were repairing the leg on the boat motor out front. I hope it gets us there and back.
Right around 10:30 we were off. There were 12 of us in the boat so it wasn't crowded at all. The kids all took turns sitting in the front seats.
We headed straight out to where other boats had observed whales. It wasn't long before we were part of the show. It is obvious these whales love to show off. We followed a pod of adults who had a couple of young ones. It was like they were showing them off sometimes.

What an awesome afternoon for the kids. We enjoyed some lunch on the beach before heading back home in taxi's again.
