Happy New Year

WHERE ARE WE? Numero UNO RV Park, La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Well its 2024!!  The day started exactly like any other day in 2023!  As one gets older we understand how fortunate we are to just get up in the morning!!  lol.  We just kinda chilled for most of the morning.  

It was decided that we would go to Guayabitos today and walk on the beach and have lunch at a beach restaurant.   Logistics said that I would take 3 in the Jeep and Sue and the other 2 would take a taxi.  When we got to Guayabitos in the Jeep, Sue called to say there were no taxi's to be had today!!   By that time, we had arrived at the beach and it was packed shoulder to shoulder and the beach side restaurants were crowded and it was just not a good scene.  So I called Sue back and told her we were coming home.  

So we hung around the pool and beach and later on, Abby and I decided to walk to Abuela's because Kenia said (or so I thought!!) that everyone was there and there was lots of food.  Now I never turn down food!!   On the way we ran into some goats out grazing in a vacant lot we walk through.  

When we got to Abuela's the place was empty.  What the heck?  Oh well.  Just then Abuela came out and we kinda conversed about the situation.  She didn't even know where Kenia was!!  Thats how much trouble I get into using translator with Kenia!!  I think she was at a friends house some where.  Who knows.  Anyways we walked back home and Sue ordered pizza for all of us.  We just all sat around and waited for the pizza.  

It arrived on Mexican time!!   It was a good day no matter what didn't work out.  Good Nite!!
