Volley Ball Tournament

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita RV Park, La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico
NEXT DESTINATION? We are here for a while

They had an international volleyball tournament in the Park today.  There were 3 countries participating, Canada, USA, and Mexico.  Canada came out great and won against both Mexico and the USA in the round robin.  They then had to play USA in the final and USA had to beat them twice to win the title.  Canada fell fast asleep and the USA are the 2019 International La Penita RV Park Volleyball Champions.  Congratulations to our US friends on their prestigious win.

After lunch we headed into town to meet up with Pat and Julie who had been at the market.  It was a beautiful day for a walk on the beach.

  

A couple of fishermen were cleaning their catch and they threw a 5 gallon pail of fish parts on the beach.  It wasn't 5 seconds before the frigates and pelicans showed up.  They made short work of that pail of fish guts.

We had a nice lunch with the neighbours today.  We went back to Las Brezes restaurant because the wind was blowing through the upper deck.  It is a wonderful place for lunch.

When we got back to the park Steve and Julie texted that they were down at the ocean.  We decided to join them and its a darn good thing we did because Steve and I had to move a piece of driftwood out of the way!!!  It was a heavy lift but we managed to get it moved.  Hope your day was as successful as ours!!!
