Today started out quite warm. I had to go downtown to get a few things so off I went. When I got to the downtown I saw they were making a bunch of arrangements for the parade tonight. Now we have been to a lot of parades here and each time we say we will not go back. We will see what happens.
With the sun getting hotter again, it was time to buy a big hat to keep the nose from burning too badly. I found one for 100 pesos and that is what I got. What do you think??
So about 5:30 I gave in and headed downtown to see the parade. The parade was scheduled to start at 4 so I figured I would be just about right to see the start of it. Nope, no sign of a parade around here.
We found a spot to sit and claimed it. Abuela and Rhonda were my parade dates. There was not much room.

I headed over to Kenia's to see what she was up to. I was hungry so ordered the wiener plate with fries from a vendor across from her. Wrong choice. It had been sitting out way too long and then they threw everything back in the fryer and it was just nasty. Even a bunch of sauce on top could not save it.
The crowd for the parade was huge. I think this was the most people all week. They had a few dancing horses back again. Rumour has it that the music and party went till about 5 am.
They had fireworks later that I saw from home. I took some pictures and kinda messed this one up but it looked pretty good. Different anyway. Good Nite!!!
