Beach Day at the Park

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita RV Park, La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico
NEXT DESTINATION? We are here for a while

I headed down to Rincon de Guayabitos to see if I could find a whale watching tour for Kaitlyn and I on Friday.  I knew from when we used to come to the all inclusive here years ago, that they did them from here.  The best place to start would be the front desk of the hotel.  Guess who was there with a smiling face doing his new job as a bell boy.  Alphonso!!!  He is the guy that used to work for the outfit that washes MH's in the park and he washed ours.  I congratulated him on his new job and he found me a tour guide to fix us up with what we wanted.

I took a little walk on the beach and got a few pictures of the all inclusive where we used to stay.  We did enjoy our time there.

The second floor is where we used to stay.  And the little bar was right down below it.  Lots of good memories.

P & H have been talking about jockeying for position here in the park and they have found a spot down below that has more shade.  So today was move day for them.  Its not like they are miles away or anything so we will visit back a forth.  We want to come back to this park so we want to try out some different sites when they come available so we will be doing the same thing if something we like comes up!!  I didn't make it down to their new site so those pictures will be later.

Steve and Julie organized a park beach day today.  The people at the park here just don't seem to use the beach enough and it is beautiful there.   So we gathered up tables and BBQ's and headed down there.   Some peiople brought beach games to play and there was wieners and burgers on the BB
I would guess that there were 50 people turned up and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.

The ocean was a little rough for the kids today so we headed for home about 4 to swim in the pool.  It is always nice and refreshing.  Apparently there is a full moon tonight so maybe there will be a turtle release again.  Remember the last one?   Mammary not mammal type of release.  I will  not be walking by the pool tonight after dark!!!  Hope you had a great day.

  1. We have done a whale watching tour off the coast of Marina Del Rey and really enjoyed it, I'm sure you guys will have fun. It's sad that the P&H and L&S patio with the cool curtain is no more :-(
