Beer Can Races!!

NEXT DESTINATION? We are here for a while

Oscar came for a visit today because he is here at the restaurant with Erika who is his aunt.  Erika works at the restaurant so Oscar has lots of time to hang out with us.  He is always up to something.  He found this scary mask in the Ponderosa and came out and tried to scare me!!



Today was Beer Can race day but it was not very successful for me.  I didn't win a single race.  So I guess my luck had just run out.  Here are some of the cans we play with and we also have a steeple race.  You have to roll a double to jump over the steeple so it changes the whole race.



After the races Sue and I went downtown with some friends to a little bar and eatery with some friends.  They had a DJ and dancing but it was really hot and muggy in there so Sue and I came home early.  So that was our day!!


Here is a little poem that I'm sure all our friends in the great White north can attest to.  I must admit that down here the time flies.  I thought it was cute.  Hope you had a great day!!

    Just reading your blog and catching up with what you all have been up to. It really is enjoyable to read as you always seem to be just enjoying the days as they go by. It continues to sound like you found the perfect place to experience being in Mexico.

    I too am catching up on the blog reading. Sounds as if you are learning lots, enjoying lots and just having a great time while doing so. I think the mask was cute and I'm sure the little guy is full of laughter and fun. I'm willing to bet he makes you folks smile a great deal and enjoy your time there just a little bit more.
