NEXT DESTINATION? We are here for a while
Today we have to take Kaitlyn and the kids to PV to fly back to Manitoba. Two weeks have flown by and our visit has come to an end. I think Kaitlyn was ready to get back to her family and friends and work routine. Living in a MH with mom and dad for a couple weeks can get a little old. We love all of our family and want to spend time with them as often as possible but the older we get, we are set in our ways and I find myself being grumpy when I shouldn't be. Little ones have so much energy and us old folk don't. Remember Kids, we still love you to the moon and back!!! We arrived at the PV airport in lots of time so we didn't have to rush at all.
Kaitlyn got all checked in to Swoop airlines and we had lots of time to have a nice but expensive lunch before they headed off.
We had a nice lunch at "Wings" and did some silly things with the kids cause we won't see them until May now.
Then they were off! There wasn't much of a line up so they will have lots of time to kill while waiting to board.
We had to pick up some stuff at Walmart and Costco before heading for home. Some things we just looked at and didn't buy. Guess which one??
The trip back was really slow. Took us almost 2 hours to travel 60 kms. There is a lot of new construction going on getting the new bypass built. Stop and go for a long way.
Later that evening we got a couple pictures from Grandma Melaine showing us that the kids made it to Winnipeg safely. Still some shorts with the winter jackets!! They did drive back to Brandon that night even though it was blowing a bit. Hope none of you had to shovel snow today and if you did, hope you enjoyed it.
