Her daughter writes:
To all who loved, followed, and prayed for my mother over these months if not years...thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have no doubt whatsoever that it is largely because of the tremendous amount of love, prayers, and support she received that her transition to Heaven today was as quick, painless, and peaceful as she'd planned it to be in her last act of doing things her way in her time.
Malia will always be in the back of my mind and when I see a neat looking tree, I will see Malia standing under it. Lake Mead and Stewarts Point will always be where we remember her. Rest in Peace my friend until our paths meet again in another adventure.
If you want to check out all of the blogs she has written over the years you can find them at
Malia's Miles Blog
And if you want to read a bit about her life and her RV experiences, you can go to Amazon and buy it in paper back form for $11.00, or on Amazon or Kindle. Any money from the book will help keep her legend alive through the written word.
Definitely hard saying so long to good friends.
