There is a neat 3 wheel motorcycle that drives back and forth lots. It has a big V8 on it so it makes lots of noise.
This fuel problem is every bit as elusive as the one we had back in November. We are at a nice little shop which is mainly automotive and tires, but a couple of the mechanics have diesel backgrounds. At this point we are covering all the obvious stuff like lift pumps and fuel lines. A lot of the items are easier to see if you take a picture of them, so that is what I have been doing. For all the ladies reading this, here is what we are looking at. lol I like to add these because I can look back at them later if I need to. Sorry.
Some of the trouble shooting involved taking lines off and pumping fuel to them, so because the shop is busy, Harold and I did some of the work last night. I never mind getting dirty on a project. But in the end it was "What the heck?"
So bottom line is that we are none the wiser as to what the problem is. AJ and the boys back at Pinks in Wisconsin have been awesome, sending us hints and being some moral support. It's hard to diagnose a problem from that far away so I told him to get down here. He said it was -43 there so he would love a holiday. So for today here was the view out our window.
We feel for you, even though your pictures were crappy ... okay I thought they were crappy, hubby thought they were fine pictures :-) Hopefully you are on your way soon!
ReplyDeleteNever hurts to record what you see. Hope it's easy to find and fix.
ReplyDeleteWearing Ear Plugs to block out noise is a practical solution.
ReplyDeleteYou might be looking on the bottom of the Engine when the Problem is on the top. Have you tried researching the problem On-Line. Some help others add to the problem. Hope you're up and running soon.
Be Safe!
It's about time.
