We found a good Hooker!!

About 9 am our tow truck arrived to take us to Ocala.   He   We have an appointment with Cummins on Thursday afternoon, but we can go stay in their back yard which is set up to accommodate RV's.  Brenden was the tow truck driver and he was a real friendly guy so we knew we were in good hands.

It wasn't long before he had the driveshaft removed and the tow truck on the front of the Ponderosa. We had to rig up some air lines to make sure we had enough air in our suspension for the trip.  Our suspension is in good shape and doesn't leak at all.  We can sit for weeks and it will stay aired up.

He found a real good spot to hook up to which was directly to the frame.  No danger of damaging anything there.  I thought I should take a picture just so I could remember the spot for future reference.  Its amazing how rusty things get when you hang around the salt water and humidity.

So we were finally all hooked up and the wheels were off the ground and ready to go.  We will follow along in the Jeep and when we get to the 4 lane, we will shoot ahead to pick out the nicest spot to park in for the next week.

This will be our route through some pretty horse country.

As we headed around the corner by the gas station, I spotted this Redneck outfit.  I have heard about recliners in the back of ATV's but had never saw one.

It was kind of a weird thing to see your home heading down the road on the back of a hook without us in it.  Brenden drove slower than I thought he might so nothing got tossed around.  I think he did that on purpose because he seemed like a person who cared.

When we went through Dunnellon I spotted the Blues Brothers on the corner.  They are at the Two Rivers Inn and were just restored after being vandalized.  Interesting enough there is an Identical Statue of the Blues Brothers at another Two Rivers Inn in Jamestown North Dakota which is not that far from where we live.  Apparently the one in Jamestown is stored inside in the Winter to save it from damage.

Not long after that we arrived on the 4 lane so we passed the Ponderosa to go pick out a good spot to park it.

Brenden backed her right into the spot we had picked.  I think this will work for us until we can get back up and running.  Hopefully soon.

It was good to see the tow truck unhooked.  Brenden hung around for a while and told us lots about himself and his family.  It is so good to get to know the locals and how they operate.  He and his wife live in a Motorhome as well.  Thanks Brenden for looking after us so well.

So this will be our new home for a few days.  It is quiet here, we are the only ones actually staying in our motorhomes.

This was the view out our window today.  Its a good view if you have troubles I guess.  Thanks Coach-Net for footing the bill.
