He worked away under there for a long time and if it got hot he would come inside to do some work where we had the air conditioning on.
He worked away and had it all back together about 2 pm. New injector pump, new air compressor, and new injectors. We are pretty much covered.
He got me to do some run throughs with the key to prime the pumps and bleed the system. Then it was go time. I turned the key and vroom it fired right up. Boy that felt good. We have not heard that sound for 4 weeks. In fact it was Monday Feb 11 that we broke down, and it is now Monday March 11 and we are fixed. We took it for a little test drive and it runs good. It has lots of power like it should have. I guess the first pump we put on back in Wisconsin must not have been rebuilt right because it didn't have any power at all then, compared to what it has now.
We are happy and will spend the evening going over our travel plans. This will be the last view out our window from Ocala FL. We will miss this place. The Cummins people have been so great to get along with and they have just accepted us hanging around like we belong. Thanks everyone.
