Visiting Steve and Julie

WHERE ARE WE? Apple Beach RV Park, Oliver BC

We got up this morning and just enjoyed our surroundings.  Someone had left a couple chairs on the edge of the embankment just behind the MH where you could sit and have a nice cup of coffee overlooking the lake and orchards below.

When you go sit in the chairs you can look down on the orchards below.  The picking is mainly done for the year but it is still quite green.

The one below us had an area out by the lake that was what I believe was a wedding venue and they were setting up this morning.  Where the ring of chairs are is still probably 100 feet above the lake, so it makes for an awesome view.  

We didn't have far to go today to get to our destination in Oliver.  

Our friends Steve and Julie were kind enough to pick a nice little campground by the lake for us to stay for 3 nights while we visit the area.  The name of the campground is Apple Beach RV Park and the young lady who checked us in had a snicker when she saw the Jeep with Cj's on it because her name is CJ!!!

We spent some time getting set up before heading over to Steve and Julies condo.  They have a lovely roomy place and we plan to visit with them over the next 3 days.  Of course supper was included in the visit package and I give the whole experience a 5 star rating.  We even got to play a few games before retiring for the night.  Good Nite!!
