Water for Everything

WHERE ARE WE? Sherwood Park, Alberta

I got up this morning before anyone else so I headed out in search of a water spigot so we can fill up the Motorhome.  I found one at Co-op so we will get some on the way out of town.  I also found a car wash in my travels so gave the Jeep a little scrub.  That will bring on rain for sure.

He actually looks pretty good with just a little TLC.

Once we decided to head out, we went down to the Co-op cardlock where there was a RV dump station.  The sewer was all locked up but the water was still on.  Somebody was smart when they put this dump station in because they put in a cattle valve which drains itself each time it is shut off.  The water runs out 6 feet down in the ground so it theoretically should never freeze.  I imagine they shut it right off after the weather gets real cold just in case.   Anyway we took on a tank of water which will last us for a long time.  We were pretty empty and finding water has been a real challenge.

We didn't get away until mid afternoon so only went as far as Sherwood Park which is on the outskirts of Edmonton.  We are in no real hurry to get anywhere really.  Its more about the trip.  We did the Walmart thing again just for convenience and this was a quiet one.  This one they ask you to sign in so the security knows you are supposed to be there.  No problem.  Just as a note for my daughter Kaitlyn, there was an ATS truck in the parking lot.  I was going to ask if they knew you but didn't see them leave.  Your moment of stardom and I missed it!!

So that was our day today.  We are all parked up and going to watch Survivor then off to bed.

This was our trip today!  Good Nite!
