Well today we made it to California. Oh yah the land of everything expensive. We started to see 6.57 gas later in the day but were lucky and filled up before we crossed the state line.
Lots of big redwood trees as we are getting into the Great Redwood Forest area. The road goes from 4 lane to narrow 2 lane and back quite often but the drive is beautiful.
By the time we got hunkered down for the night it was cooling off real good. Down to about 10C tonight I think. I had to have a little toe warm up before bed though. Should be good for the night now.
