Rainy Days and Thursdays Always Get Me Down

WHERE ARE WE? Numero UNO RV Park, La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

The day started out as overcast but was still good enough to have a market in town.  It was much smaller due to the light showers we were having, but a market none the less.

Not many time can I say that we had a ho hum day here in La Penita.  In the 5 years we have been coming here, today was only really the second time we had any amount of rain.  It has rained almost steady all afternoon and for a couple hour the wind got to the point where we brought the awning in.  Because of the rise in humidity, it actually felt cool, and at one time I considered changing my shorts to long pants.  We have been feeling sorry for our friends in Southern USA for the coolness they have endured, now it is their turn to give us a little sympathy for our misfortune.  OK OK we will survive!!!

Joel was here for a while working today and when it started to rain he went to get his umbrella.  This Hunter spider was hiding inside.  He was almost as big as my fake Tarantula.  His spider didn't get nearly as much attention as mine did though!!!

We don't anticipate much of a change overnight or tomorrow, but Saturday looks like it will be sunny and warm again.  Pray for us!!! LOL

By the time I wrote the blog tonight I had succumbed to the near Arctic weather and found a hoodie and long pants and even some wool socks.  I will be fine now.

The view out our window today was a little different than normal and I had no sunset to bore you with.  Good Nite!!!!

  1. It sure does look cold and dreary out there.
Good thing your warm clothes weren't packed away to deep.
