A Little Bit of Christmas

WHERE ARE WE?           Bentley Alberta, CANADA eh!

NEXT DESTINATION?    Rivers Provincial Park, Rivers Manitoba in 10 days or so.

Today we saw a little taste of Winter for a few minutes.  It was not that cold but it did snow for a while.  All of our friends have been texting us to try to convince us to stay away, because everywhere we go it seems to snow.  We assure you that we do not want to see snow any more than you do.

Inside the house where it was warmer, it was like Christmas as well.  Sue has spent the winter accumulating lots of goodies for all the grandkids and because we miss Christmas with them, they get a lot of stuff when we get back.  Joey was first with some Pokeman cards and things which he loved.

Then came the clothes which went over like a lead balloon lol

Then it was the girls turn and of course they loved the clothes.  They even modelled them for us.

Hugs all the way around!

Of course Donovan got in on the act.  He got some clothes but his gift will be an I-tunes card which we will buy for him tomorrow.

Charlie started out being aggressive to Moose so he got the penalty box for a while.  He loves it in there because he knows it is Moose's bed.

It was a good day all around.  We even got a present from Dani that she painted for us this winter.  Art is interesting and this piece certainly falls in that category.  This is a picture of Mickey Mouse looking into the sunset.  I love the picture.

Due to the fact that the Ponderosa will be sitting in the same spot for a while,  the view out the window will be from various other windows that we will look out for the next 10 days.  Here was the view out Sheri's window yesterday.  Hope we get to use those chairs around a fire before we have to leave.

  1. Well Merry Christmas but I sure hope that snow goes away before we fly to Edmonton next Friday!

  2. I sure do wish you hadn’t had to endure that snow! It did make celebrating Christmas much more fun, I suppose. I am happy that y’all are safe. Stay warm.
