Well, another year in my life has come and gone. I try not to make a big deal of birthdays anymore, but the alternative is not something I want either. We spent most of the day enjoying the warmth and the beach and fixing a few things. Uncle Red taught me how to do anything with duct tape.
We were watching the seagulls and how they migrated to wherever someone would feed them. It's amazing how when someone feeds them the word goes out real quick and soon there is a whole flock descending on you. That is what happened to Ed. One lonely seagull turned into a ducking diving squawking tangle of birds.
We even had a hermit crab come to visit. He was very shy and stayed in his shell most of the time.
And a pelican sitting on a broken pier piling made for a good picture.
We went out for supper tonight in Victoria. P & H are Texas Roadhouse fans, so we went there. I had a sirloin chopped steak and it was quite tasty. It is a great place to go for some good food served up fast.
And here is a different sunset picture!! We had to stop at Walmart in Port Lavaca on the way home and just happen to catch the sunset there. A little different perspective. Had a great day. Hope you did too. Good Night!!!
Happy belated birthday. You're only as old as you feel. Hope you are feeling young!
