We Have Found the Gulf of Mexico!

WHERE ARE WE?  Magnolia Beach Texas.

After doing the blog last night the dog started barking and we couldn't figure out why.  Then we spotted our deer friends out in the green space.  I always love having wildlife around. I'm from the country and I like it that way!!!

Today we spent the morning tidying up and getting ready to move.  We headed out about 1 o'clock on our 58 km trip to Magnolia Beach.  It took us about 3 hours to get there with stops at the hardware store and grocery store on the way.  We have finally arrived at the Gulf of Mexico.  We can't go any farther without getting wet.  Now we have to put on our right-hand signal light and head southwest after a week or so.

But first we are going to spend some time with friends on the beach.  We always look forward to time with Randy and Sue and Champ who live here in Magnolia, and we always run into other travelers we know on the beach.  Chuck and Angie will be here soon, and so will Ed and Lessie.  Good times ahead.

There are still lots of campers on the beach enjoying this gem of a place.  We will see what happens tomorrow.  Good Nite.
