The sun came up this morning

We got up this morning and noticed that the sun had already come up.  I think some people thought it might not.


Congratulations to my USA friends for exercising your democratic right and choosing a president for your great country.  Time to make a list of all of the things that could be done to make your life better by this country.  After 4 years, review it again to see how many of your wishes came true.  Hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised.  That is how you can gauge if a government is working for you.  If they are working for you then it is important that you give them your support and respect but they need a chance to earn that support.

Charlie and I went for a walk on the beach before we departed.  It is a nice white sand beach but has a lot of tree stumps sticking up.

We travelled about 175 miles today and arrived at the Myrtle Beach State Park Campground about 2 pm. We had decided to hook up to power and dump and take on water here.  Also they have a laundry mat so will catch up on that too.

We got set up and went for a walk on the beach which is just the other side of the dunes from our Motor home.

I think Charlie loves it here.  He looks quite happy.

After our walk we went out to Cracker Barrel for supper.  It's been a long time since we ate at one.
