Atlantic City Boardwalk

We left the forest this morning and made a 45 minute drive to the Walmart in Atlantic City.  This is the first time I have been to the Atlantic Ocean and Sue has not been here since she was young.  Our goal today was to see the Casino's and Boardwalk here.
We unhooked the Jeep and drove down to the ocean.  We found all day parking for $5.00 with security and off we went to the ocean.

And who could resist the old foot shot of the beach.
Although this is off season, most of the businesses were open and the day was warm and the crowd was small, so from a sightseeing point of view it was perfect.  We never gambled a penny but did walk through Caesers.

There is a totally different atmosphere here than in Vegas because this is a beach town.  In the middle of summer this would be a booming place.

We observed that one hotel has been closed in early October. Apparently it had a bit of financial difficulty.

We took a little drive around the sea shore and observed a spot where hurricane Helene had totally destroyed the old boardwalk along the bay in 2011.  A new one has been built further inland.

After our drive around town we spent a quite evening in the Walmart parking lot.
