Spiders? Who cares. We see them all the time.

WHERE ARE WE?          La Penita RV Park, La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico
NEXT DESTINATION?    We are here for a while.

It was mentioned that everyone still needs to know where we are every day even though we will not be moving for a while.  I agree, so have put the header up again, if only for future reference.

We were over by the pool area this morning looking at some things that need to be done to prepare for burger nights on Sunday.  I happened to look down by the corner of the pool and there was another tarantula.  It seems there are quite a few around here and no one gets excited about them.  It was great this time because everyone got to see him/her before the boys scooped him up and put him back in the jungle.  Even Sue got to have a good close up look.  Actually they are quite pretty to look at and because they are quite big, (the size of the palm of your hand) you don't really associate it with a spider!!  One of the staff stood by patiently with a broom and a bottle while we all had a look.

That was most of the excitement for the day.  In the afternoon we spent time at Steve and Julies trying to get them a good satellite signal.  We moved that thing a dozen times before lucking out and getting a clear shot through the trees.  We now boast the best satellite reception in the whole park at 91%!!!  Shortly after we were done, which took a couple hours, Carole who owns the park came by for a visit and when we told her about our afternoon, she casually said, just take your cord and hook it to mine on the satellite post right behind your trailer that will be hooked up manana!!  Do you remember what that word means?  Supposed to be tomorrow but not necessarily.  Unspecified time in the future is a better definition.  Anyway Steve and I just looked at each other with that defeated look on our faces.  All that work!!!!  LOL

How quickly the days pass here especially when it is dark at 6 pm.  We do have some beautiful sunsets here except most often there is not a cloud in the sky to enhance them.  Last night was a good one.

After watching the beautiful sunset I started the grill and we finished cooking some pork ribs that had been in the instapot.  These are the ones we bought at the butcher shop the other day.  Wow were they every good.  I know, I know, i said I would not post my supper pictures unless in a restaurant but just this once.  Sorry to all my blogger friends who have their supper pictures as their post signature piece.

And can anyone guess what I watched on TV before bed?  Have a great day everyone.
