Sue and I went for a little drive down to the little town of Kenansville to the south of us. Not a lot there, but there is a place to fill up the water bladder, and they have a hardware, groceries, and gas. There is even a little restaurant down the highway a bit. And we found what Elvis did his song about!! The Heartbreak Hotel!!
The moss filled trees are really pretty around here. It sure seems to grow in this humid environment.
Other than a short bonfire after dark when it quit raining, that was about all we did today. This is the view from our front window this afternoon.
Mild rain is better than cold rain but it 'dampens' the moods a bit. Better than the white stuff though!

DeletePretty to look at but that moss is full of small bugs, I believe in Georgia they refer to them as chiggers. I love the look of it though, although over time it will kill the trees. Excellent use of a rainy day!!!
