A Day at Magic Kingdom

A person is never too old to feel the Magic of Disney when you lay your eyes on the Castle.  You can almost sense that Cinderella and a lot of other Princes and Princesses live there along with the odd wicked witch.  We arrived early and walked down the street toward the Castle.

Of course the traditional pictures in front of the castle

Kaitlyn is our tour guide for the day and she explained to us exactly how our fast passes would work and what time we would do everything.  It is nice to have at least one organizer in the family.  Notice that Greg seems to be a good listener.

We headed off into the masses to do our Disney Day!

Here are a bunch of pictures of our day.  The day was magical for Grace and Kaitlyn and that is what we set out to do.  I think I even saw a little glint of magic in Greg's eye!!!

Tom and Huck painted fence
One of the highlights of the day was when Grace got to hug the Princess Bella.  They had a little stage show first and Grace and I got to be in it.  I was a guard at the door!! And what a handsome guard I made!!

Grace got to meet the princess and then she leaned in and gave her a great big hug.  It is sooooo awesome to see the eyes of the kids as they live out their dreams.

Max had a great day too, and wasn't the least bit interested in princess's.   The only princess he is interested in is Mom!!!

As I was going through my pictures for this blog I came across two almost identical pictures.  One was taken by me, and the other by Sue.  You can tell who is the photographer in the family.

Quickly the day came to an end and darkness descended on the Kingdom.  Thats when the fireworks started.  The look on her face says it all.

This was our view tonight:

  3. I have two favorites, I love the picture of Grace on her dad's shoulders, but I also love the picture of Grace sitting on the shell looking up at the mermaid, that look on her face! LOL! Priceless!
